At the front this AP kit has height adjustable Coil-Overs with gas assisted zinc plated dampers. The springs mount on seats which can be wound up or down the damper body to achieve a lowering anywhere between 30mm and 60mm . The rear dampers are also gas assisted units, but with an epoxy coated finish for durability. They are designed to work in harmony with the uprated AP springs which lower ther rear end by 40mm. This kit includes four pre-set gas assisted dampers and four uprated AP springs. A special adjusting spanner is also included (required for adjusting the spring seats).

The handling
This AP kit features pre-set damping which has been engineered to give a firmer, sporty character whilst retaining the suppleness required for road use. The ride height is fully adjustable at the front and can be set up to suit your taste, whilst the amount of lowering at the rear is fixed. Reduced ride height will reduce body roll and allow faster cornering.

This AP kit is suitable for the early Fiat Punto manufactured from 1993 till 1999. This includes hatch models and cabriolets, in all engine sizes from 1.2i to 1.6i and all Diesels. These models have a chassis code/body type known as 176.

PLEASE NOTE
Lowering a vehicle by 50mm or more may, under certain circumstances, cause tyre/arch clearance problems.

As with all suspension kits it may be necessary to fit spacers/shims behind the wheels for a little added clearance. This depends greatly on the wheel/tyre sizes being used.
