This side skirt and arch set includes a set of four arch extensions and a pair of side skirts. The design of our Cosworth replica arch panels allows you to keep your original steel wings – maintaining the strength and rigidity of the original body shell. The extended wings are simply bonded over the original ones, and then blended in before being painted.

The side skirts are fitted once all four of the wing panels are in place. Unlike cheaper replicas our side skirts and wing panels do not suffer the severe rippling effect of thin GRP mouldings.

This kit was originally designed to fit the early Mk5 (1990-92). If you’re fitting it to a later model you may have to carry out a little modification around the fuel filler area which Ford changed to an opening flap in 1993.

This kit will also fit Mk6 models (1995-2000) with a little additional work around the front indicator areas.

Escorts fitted with these wide arches do not require any special bumpers. Bumpers designed for the normal ‘narrow body’ Escort will certainly have enough flexibility to cope with this wider body.
