About this seatThe Savage ‘Blade’ is one of two Savage designs. A close look at the seat reveals that it’s surprisingly well made. You’d expect to see this quality on a seat of twice its price! The seating is comfortable and very supportive. The design means that you could spend hours on a long journey without discomfort and you also know that it’ll hold you well in hard corners. When you consider that seat runners are included with this seat you have to agree that they’re surprisingly good value! The ‘Blade’ seat can be used with standard inertia reel seat belts or with a 3 or 4 point harness. Fitting this seat
To fit this seat you will need a seat frame. It is highly unlikely that the frame from your original seat can be re-used. Some enthusiasts choose to fabricate a new frame from scratch; others will use our universal frame kit. The easiest solution is an ‘exact fit’ frame kit, but the range is limited. The amount of work required to fabricate your own seat frame is considerable. Using a universal kit is a good idea. The amount of work involved to do this really does vary from car to car. PLEASE NOTE: The ‘Blade’ seat is handed – so please order the correct side if ordering just one.
