What is this item? A seat frame attaches to the floor of a car. The seat runners mount on top of it, and then the seat is mounted on top of the runner. When fitting a non standard seat to your car it is highly unlikely that the frame from the original seat can be re-used. Some enthusiasts choose to fabricate a new frame from scratch; others will use our universal frame kit, but the easiest solution is this item - an ‘exact fit’ frame kit. (Provided, of course that your car is one of the ones listed below). How does it fit? The frame should be a direct bolt-on fit. However, due to vehicle tolerances in some cases it may be necessary to ‘open up’ a hole or two, or to file a piece of the frame. Otherwise fitting is very straight forward. What else do I need to fit my seats? A seat frame does not incorporate a runner. Runners are available separately. In some cases the runners from your original seat can be re-used. PLEASE NOTE: One frame kit is enough for one seat. For a pair of seats please order two frames.
