What is this item?
A seat frame attaches to the floor of a car. The seat runners mount on top of it, and then the seat is mounted on top of the runner. When fitting a non standard seat to your car it is highly unlikely that the frame from the original seat can be re-used. Some enthusiasts choose to fabricate a new frame from scratch; others will use this universal frame kit. For some applications an exact fit kit is also available.

How does it fit?
The amount of work involved really does vary from car to car. This universal frame is adjustable for height and is available in two different widths. In some cases the frame will simply bolt to the car and seat runner without the requirement for any additional work. In extreme cases the frame may need to be adapted by cutting, drilling etc.

What else do I need to fit my seats?
This seat frame does not incorporate a runner. Runners are available separately. In some cases the runners from your original seat can be re-used.

PLEASE NOTE:
Watch out for standard seats that have a seat belt receivers mounted in them. In many cases it can be re-positioned on to your new seat frame. Please also note that one frame kit is enough for one seat. For a pair of frames please order two.
