About These DiscsEBC’s ‘Turbo Groove’ brake discs feature a unique wide slot design that runs to the outside edge of the disc allowing the dust, gasses and carbon deposits to be spun off from the braking disc surface. The blind holes prevent cracking and help to break down surface gasses resulting in improved braking under heavy load. These discs are cast and machined using a high quality alloy designed to run up to 800/900 degrees centigrade (glowing red hot) and still run true and stay straight. EBC ‘Turbo Groove’ represents a high performance brake disc with good ‘behind wheel’ looks, at an affordable price. You will be hard pressed to find a better standard size disc for your car. Fitment
These discs are suitable for 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, RS2000 & Diesel models. IMPORTANT NOTE
There are two different front disc options listed below. Please check the diameter of the original ones fitted to your Escort and replace them like for like (ie If your original discs are 240mm in diameter, replace them for 240mm ones). As a general rule 240mm discs were fitted to most models whereas 260mm discs were fitted to 130bhp and RS2000 models. Measuring the original discs on your Escort still remains the most accurate way of ordering correctly.
